一、院系簡介

城市與環(huán)境學院以地理學為主體，包含環(huán)境科學、生態(tài)學、城鄉(xiāng)規(guī)劃等多個相關(guān)學科，具有理、工、文多學科交叉的綜合優(yōu)勢。擁有地理學國家一級重點學科，自然地理和人文地理兩個國家二級重點學科，2011年與校內(nèi)其他學院聯(lián)合建設了首批生態(tài)學一級學科。有地理學國家理科基礎科學人才培養(yǎng)基地、地表過程分析與模擬教育部重點實驗室。

學院下設5個系和1個研究所，即城市與經(jīng)濟地理系、城市與區(qū)域規(guī)劃系、環(huán)境學系、生態(tài)學系、自然地理與自然資源系、歷史地理研究所。擁有一支優(yōu)秀的學術(shù)團隊，共有教學科研人員82人，擁有“環(huán)境生物地球化學”“中國陸地植被的時空格局與生態(tài)功能”“區(qū)域環(huán)境污染的生態(tài)健康風險”三個國家自然科學基金委創(chuàng)新研究群體項目。

學院繼承了以侯仁之先生為代表的老一輩學界泰斗的學術(shù)思想，一大批中青年學術(shù)骨干活躍在資源、環(huán)境、生態(tài)和城鄉(xiāng)規(guī)劃等各個領(lǐng)域，既推動著地理學及相關(guān)的資源、環(huán)境、生態(tài)和城鄉(xiāng)規(guī)劃等學科的理論創(chuàng)新，又為國家的可持續(xù)發(fā)展做出了貢獻。

the college of urban and environmental sciences (cues) has five departments and one center，including the department of environmental science, department of ecology, department of physical geography and natural resources, department of urban and economic geography, department of urban and regional planning, and the research institute for historical geography.

the college of urban and environmental sciences at peking university invites applications for faculty positions at all ranks in human geography, urban and regional planning, physical geography, environmental sciences, geomorphology and quaternary geology, historical geography. the successful candidate will hold a ph.d in relevant disciplines, with an outstanding record of scholarly international publications demonstrating strong expertise in related areas, a demonstrated excellence in teaching, and a good command of english. the successful candidate will be highly recognized internationally and will be able to provide leadership for the related disciplines in the college.
